Can I combine different packs of coffee to get the quantity discount?

Yes of course within the same selection ie. Blended, Espresso and Speciality ranges - it's the number of packs in your basket that counts.

What if I don't like the coffee when I get it?

We are sure you will - our roaster only uses the very best beans - he is passionate about them! However if you don't just send them back and we will refund you but please help us and let us know what you didn't like about them. We will refund or swap them - your choice.

How long does coffee last?

Stored correctly roasted beans should last for 8 months when opened, standard ground coffee will last for 8 weeks unopened and a week when opened. Espresso Ground up to 8 hours - yes 8 hours that's why we don't sell ground espresso and if you like this type of coffee we urge you to get a grinder!

How do you store coffee?

In an air tight jar in a cool, dark place. Not in a fridge. Freezing coffee beans or grounds is a much debated topic. Personally I wouldn't freeze ground coffee but beans isn't so bad - you and I probably wouldn't notice the difference and it would be a shame to waste good coffee if you can't use it all in one go. TIP: freeze them in portions to fit your brewer.

What's the difference between Blended and Non Blended?

It's a bit like whisky; you get blended whisky and single malt. Our blended coffees are a combination of several single types of beans selected by an expert to give delicious coffee. Single origin is literally a single farm's beans possibly even down to a particular field. Much like wines it's the complete natural environment in which a bean is grown that counts, including factors like soil, topography and climate (ie. terroir).
